The Netcong freight station qwas broken into during Sunday night, but Agent Meade reported that nothing was found missing, even though the intruders had gone through the freight room.

The Newton police will see to it that the railroad station in that town will remain open until the late train returning from Newton has departed. Recently a lady passenger, who intended to take the 8:52 train in the evening, was compelled to stand out in the cold for over an hour at our station, on account of the same being closed.
