          Coal Trestle Mishap

Last Friday while four loaded gondolas were run
in on the trestle from which the locomotives are coaled, one of the
cars went over the end of the trestle to the bank below. Sunday the
car stood at an angle of 90 degrees, with the front trucks resting on
the track. Brakesman Samuel Miller was on the car and jumped to the
main line with safety as the car was going over.

          Coal Trestle Overhauled

The coal trestle in the yard of the Sussex road at
this station has been completely overhauled and put in a more substantial
manner. The car that went down the embankment has been raised and placed
on the tracks and sent away for repairs.
