Poughkeepsie Excursion

Over one hundred persons from Branchville, Lafayette and Augusta went to Poughkeepsie over the new P.P.& B. R.R. last Wednesday. The party was quite a large one and the trip was greatly enjoyed by the excursionists as the road passes through an entirely new section to our people, and the hospitable manner in which they were received by the people of Poughkeepsie made their stay in the city one of pleasure.
