Cars Derailed in Franklin

Franklin-Rail traffic on the Lehigh and Hudson Railroad was tied up last Wednesday when two cars on the Allentown to Warwick freight train were derailed at Franklin Junction. Both Lehigh and the N. Y. S. & W. Railroad Tracks (whose line runs parallel to the Lehigh at this point) were torn up. The spur running into the New Jersey Zinc Company plant was also ripped out. The small signal shack in the photo was struck by the springing rails and moved two feet off its foundation. No one was hurt in the accident.
