The Sussex Branch of the Lackawanna, last Thursday was authorized by the Public Utilities Commission, to eliminate train 608 from Newton to Franklin at 6:56, arriving there at 7:26, and 604 returning from Franklin to Newton at 8:05, arriving there at 8:38. The evidence was that 603 averaged only three passengers and 604 only five, but the order is not to take effect till May 1st, next.
