New Jersey Herald - August 29, 1912 issue
Two special trains of 22 cars were transferred from the Lehigh and Hudson River Railroad to the Lackawanna system at Andover Junction. The trains were conveying the third Artillery. U.S. A., consisting of 300 men, with horses, guns and equipment. The artillerymen had been engaged in a mimic war in Connecticut, and were on their way to the Pocono Mountains.
