Arrangements for the reopening of Cranberry
Lake as a recreation resort and amusement park are progressing rapidly.
Automobile trips are being made throughout the county posting bills
in all prominent places, and along the Lackawanna as far as Newark,
besides advertisements in several of the county newspapers. The Citizens
Band of Stanhope, which has given such universal satisfaction in the
past has been engaged to furnish music. A number of concessions have
already been placed, but many good ones are still to be had at private
sale by applying to the Secretary. See
