Lackawanna Surveys for Cut-off
The Stanhope Eagle says
the Lackawanna surveyors are still at work surveying and taking levels
between Stanhope and Cranberry Lake. Through the farm of Matthew Kays,
a former resident of Newton, they have made four or five different
surveys. All the surveys appear to unite at one point after leaving
