Newton Shops

Building New Car

The Sussex Railroad Company are constructing at their work shops near the Newton Depot a handsome new passenger car, which is now nearly completed. It is built under the superintendence of our townsman John Drake. We were surprised on looking it to find a beautiful, well proportioned, handsomely painted, "double decker' surpassing in every respect the one recently put upon the road, built at Wilmington, Del.
