Sussex Register - November 18, 1869 issue
Sussex Railroad-On and after Monday, November 22d, a change of running time will take place on the Sussex Railroad. The train which left Newton for Franklin at 7 A.M., has been taken off, and that train will hereafter leave Franklin for Waterloo, at 6:45, connecting with the Lehigh Valley Express arriving in New York at 10:30. The 9:15 A.M. train is also taken off, so that passengers will have to go to Newton Junction at Drake's Pond, and take the 6:45 A.M. train from Franklin, which leaves the Junction at 7:20. Freight and passenger train leaving Newton at 5:30 P.M. is discontinued, as is also the train leaving Waterloo at 7 P.M. The train from Waterloo at 4:40, and Newton 5:35 P.M. will run through to Franklin. Passengers who formally left on the 9:15 A.M. will have to take an omnibus for Newton Junction.
